Service Description
Course Duration: Total of 15 hours. 13 hours of in-person instruction and 2 hours of online work. The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers course. Course Prerequisites:Instructor candidates in the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers Instructor course must possess a current American Red Cross certification in basic-level CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, Lifeguarding, Basic Life Support or Emergency Medical Response. Prior to attending the first in-person session for the course, it is the instructor trainer’s responsibility to verify that each instructor candidate: Is at least 17 years of age on or before the last day of the instructor course and Has successfully completed the instructor course online session prior to the precourse skills session.
