Ready Rescue Training Outreach

Learn How You Can Make A Difference

One donation can teach someone how to save a life. Read more about you can support our mission and teach someone a life saving skill.

Why Donate?

Did you know for every minute the immediate use of CPR and an AED is delayed the chance of survival of a person decreases by 10%?

Ready Rescue Training is committed to providing high quality life saving skills to everyone no matter what. We understand that First Aid/CPR/AED course might be expensive or not accessible to all. That is why we are asking for your donation to help Ready Rescue Training reduce the cost of First Aid/CPR/AED courses for our Out Reach courses.

How does it work?

The American Health and Safety Institute (AHSI) and the American Red Cross charge a flat fee per participant for each class taught by a Licensed Training Provider. At Ready Rescue Training, we understand that paying full price for a course isn’t always easy.

Our mission is Community Outreach and Awareness. To support this mission, we aim to offer free full-length First Aid/CPR/AED courses to underserved and rural communities. Once we reach our donation goal, we will host these classes at no cost, ensuring that lifesaving training is accessible to everyone.

Ready Rescue Training is not a nonprofit organization. The American Red Cross does not receive any donations made to Ready Rescue Training—only the standard course fees paid through Ready Rescue Training. All donated funds are used exclusively to cover participant costs for Outreach First Aid/CPR/AED courses, not for any publicly listed classes. Donations will never be used to pay for individuals enrolling in regular Ready Rescue Training courses. Any remaining funds after hosting a 12-person American Red Cross Outreach class will be applied directly to future Outreach classes. The GoFundMe goal reflects the full cost of running one 12-person Outreach class, and any unused funds (if the class has fewer than 12 participants) will roll over to support the next Outreach session.

Common Questions

Q:What is an Outreach Course?

A: An Outreach Course is a First Aid/CPR/AED program offered by Ready Rescue Training at little to no cost for participants. These courses are specifically designed for communities that have limited access to training centers or may face financial barriers to receiving life-saving instruction. With the support of your donations, Ready Rescue Training is able to step in and provide affordable, accessible First Aid/CPR/AED training where it’s needed most. We also try to target Rural Communities that geographically might cover a lot of square miles with not a large EMS system and work with them to provide life saving care while EMS is on its way.

Q: What do you do with the donated money if you don't use it all in one course?

A: If we do not use all of the money in one course then we will save it for the next course.

Q: How does Ready Rescue Training determine which locations qualify as Outreach locations?
A: Ready Rescue Training collaborates with local churches, county offices, and nonprofit organizations to assess community needs, such as insufficient EMS coverage leading to longer response times or locations that are not geographically close to a hospital. If a need for First Aid/CPR/AED training is identified, we partner with these organizations to help us efficiently promote and deliver our services within that area. Every organization we partnered with will be publicly posted on our website.

Q: Does Ready Rescue Training do more than just First Aid/CPR/AED Outreach Courses? Can they do Lifeguarding Outreach?

A: No. Our outreach focuses only on First Aid/CPR/AED for people who may not have affordable or easy access to First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. Ready Rescue Training offers Lifeguarding courses but not through our Outreach Program. The same goes for CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Basic Life Support.
