Basic Life Support Instructor
The Basic Life Support (BLS) program is designed to provide healthcare providers and professional rescuers with the skills needed to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies with speed and precision. This course focuses on delivering high-quality CPR, proper AED use, and effective team-based resuscitation for adults, children, and infants. Built on the most current science from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), this program aligns with the standards of the Health and Safety Institute (HSI), ensuring that participants are trained using the latest evidence-based practices in emergency cardiovascular care. Throughout the course, participants engage in hands-on training that emphasizes critical thinking, rapid assessment, and coordinated team response. Key skills include one- and two-rescuer CPR, bag-valve-mask ventilation, AED operation, and communication during high-stress scenarios.
