Lifeguarding/Aquatics Courses

The American Red Cross r.24 Lifeguarding course equips participants to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies—covering both in‑water and on‑land rescue skills, as well as professional‑level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS arrives. The certification is valid for two years. The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO) course is tailored for persons with a duty to act (such as lifeguards, EMS, fire personnel) and teaches response to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants, including use of an AED and advanced techniques like bag‑valve‑mask ventilations and team-based CPR.

Need Skill Boosts added to your training? (Life-ThreateningBleeding and Tourniquet Application, Head, Neck, Muscle, Bone and Joint Injuries and Splinting, Emergency Oxygen Administration etc)? Check out our Skill Boost Module where we offer all American Red Cross Skill Boost Modules that you can add on to any certification.

Water Safety Facts You Should Know.

For children younger than 5, 87% of drowning fatalities happen in home pools or hot tubs. Most take place in pools owned by family, friends or relatives. After pools, bathtubs are the second leading location where young children drown. However, buckets, bath seats, wells, cisterns, septic tanks, decorative ponds, and toilets are also potential drowning sources for infants and toddlers.
