Lifeguarding/Aquatics Courses
The Lifeguarding course equips participants to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies—covering both in‑water and on‑land rescue skills, as well as professional‑level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS arrives. The certification is valid for two years. The CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers (CPRO) course is tailored for persons with a duty to act (such as lifeguards, EMS, fire personnel) and teaches response to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants, including use of an AED and advanced techniques like bag‑valve‑mask ventilations and team based CPR.
